General Summary

The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for the human resources function within BMC Networks, reporting to the CFO and working with the CEO and COO. This role includes but is not limited to the following tasks: payroll, benefits administration, employee training, and recruiting. This role will encompass sensitive and highly confidential matters.


The following are the key areas of responsibilities for this position:

  • Payroll
  • Benefits administration
  • Occupational health and safety
  • Employee recruitment
  • Employee documentation
  • Employee arrival/departure management
  • Employee vacation, sick, unpaid, and earned day off time tracking and reporting
  • Overtime tracking and reporting
  • Employee training and development
  • Employee performance review administration
  • Employee manual maintenance
  • Creation and maintenance of HR policies

The successful candidate for this position will possess a certificate or diploma from a post-secondary institution specializing in Human Resources, with a minimum 1 year of experience working within the HR field.


  • Ongoing payroll/year-end education
  • Ongoing education on HR best practices



  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • QuickBooks


  • SharePoint
  • HRIS experience
  • Payroll software experience (preferably Ceridian)
  • ConnectWise Manage experience


  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills in English
