Presented to BC Legal Management Association.
The COVID-19 pandemic has forced a paradigm shift in how small law firms work and communicate. Prior to March 2020, working from home was usually limited to lawyers and administrators on weekends/evenings, but most people worked in the office during regular work hours. However, beginning in March many law firms have had lawyers and staff work from home on a full- or part-time basis. This increased emphasis on remote access and the ability to effectively work from anywhere has forced firms to consider new tools and techniques to remain productive and stay in communication.
Join Brian Mauch of BMC Networks as he discusses various aspects of this shift to working from home, and how law firms have adapted. Discussion topics will focus on cybersecurity aspects, and how firms can keep their confidential client data safe during this paradigm shift to working in a distributed manner.
