Airton joined BMC with more than 15 years’ experience working as an IT infrastructure specialist. His passion for learning new technologies and helping clients plan and implement IT projects have contributed to his reputation as an IT ninja! Originally from Brazil, Airton brings a warmth and openness to the BMC team that everyone appreciates. However, his competitive nature comes out at our weekly BrewHaHa socials, where he is recognized as one of our foosball all-stars!

With a diploma in IT network systems and a strong background in technical support, Andrew harnessed his IT skillset to hit the ground running as a member our busy Project team. He stands out as someone who loves learning and takes pleasure from helping others in any ways he can. Andrew is also a huge fan of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which may explain why he also demonstrates BMC’s core value of Unity in spades: like the Turtles, Andrew works independently but understands that we need one another to be complete!

Arashdeep

Energetic and results-oriented, Arashdeep (Ash) eagerly brings strong communication and time management skills to her critical role on the Support team. When accomplishing her daily tasks, she leans on her deep value of service to humanity, supporting both her teammates and our clients with kindness, understanding, and humility. Early in her tenure at BMC, Ash made a big name for herself at the BMC foosball table, eventually admitting to a junior championship title!

He’s a graduate of BCIT’s Computer Information Systems Administration program, and genuinely excited to learn and continue to build his technical skillset in BMC’s fast-paced environment. Born and raised in Qatar, Aziz travelled halfway around the world to immigrate to Vancouver, BC, and he looks forward to future travel adventures. Like many of us at BMC, he loves good food. Life is too short to eat lousy food, right?!

Brian obtained both law and commerce degrees from the University of British Columbia, and then combined his education with his passion for computers to form BMC Networks in 1997. He focuses on strategic planning and advice for our clients. Brian is the heart of BMC’s culture, “walking and talking” our core values every single day. He is also the leader of the BMC band, which performs at various BMC events, recruiting team members to share their musical talent and performing alongside them!

Christopher’s work experience includes 10 years in IT with the Royal Canadian Navy, so it’s no surprise they have an aptitude for adapting to new priorities and plans, solving problems, and understanding teamwork! On top of providing remote technical support for all our clients, they are our “feet on the ground” in Victoria, BC, taking care of our Vancouver Island clients’ on-site needs. After work hours, Christopher pursues an interest in 3D modelling and texture work, and has even exhibited some of their models at virtual markets!

Edward is driven to sharpen and narrow down his troubleshooting process, determining the root cause of every issue quickly and thoroughly. He finds joy and satisfaction in helping people to resolve their technical issues and this must happen often because one of the things we love most about Edward is that he’s almost always smiling.

His career has been motivated by the profound sense of accomplishment he feels when he’s able to help someone by resolving a technical issue. He is steadfast and thorough, moving in such a way that it improves overall processes and procedures, allowing other members of his team to help clients more efficiently. When he’s not working, Hamed enjoys spending time with his wife and son, especially exploring Vancouver by bike!

He completed his degree in computer applications in California and, coincidentally, handles IT project management just like a surfer handles waves: continually honing his skills, methodically troubleshooting issues, and enjoying the ride along with his teammates and clients. As a senior member of the Project team, Jason is always willing to answer questions, provide guidance, and assist in all aspects of Support and Project services. He lives in the Philippines with his wife and their four (!!!) dogs.

He takes his responsibility for inspiring, motivating, and encouraging his team members very seriously, which is appreciated. As CFO, Nicole is responsible for overseeing BMC’s finance, accounting, human resources and administrative functions. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the University of Toronto and is a CPA, CA. Nicole is committed to working collaboratively with all members of the BMC team, helping to foster strong and supportive relationships. She learns about new technologies half-grudgingly but is recognized as a champion within BMC for back-ups and two-factor authentication. Outside work, she enjoys sunshine, long walks on the beach, yoga and time with family and friends.

Peter’s role challenges him every day to solve new and diverse problems with laser-fast, developing technologies. His particular interests are hardware and networking. He could not do this work without his team, so he values each of his teammates for the brilliant humans they are. Not every situation is Kobayashi Maru. As a Gemini, he likes a bit of everything, but can be fickle about everything as well. His family is where he lives outside work, managing security for his kids and home is a full-time second job.

In his free time, Raj enjoys playing cricket and ping pong and working out at the gym.

Roberto (Rob) has a diploma in Computer Information Systems Administration from BCIT. When he joined us as a Project Implementation Engineer, we knew he was an IT ninja, but we had no idea he’d quickly rise to the challenge of managing the Project team. Indeed, Roberto currently wears two hats around here: he provides technical support and implementation services for projects of his own, and he oversees the planning and execution of projects for the team as well as ensuring members of the team are set up for success. A fun fact about Roberto: he can cook rice in 58 seconds!

He also has his CCNA certification. These days, he continues to find solace in the great outdoors, taking time to hike and camp with his wife, and to enjoy experimenting with technology through various personal projects. He has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems and Networking and a post-graduate diploma in Technical Management and Services. He utilizes this training and his work experience to ensure seamless operations and optimize network performance for clients.
